Debian is a Unix-like computer operating system that is composed entirely of free software, most of which is under the GNU General Public License and packaged by a group of individuals participating in the Debian Project. The Debian Project was first announced in 1993 by Lan Murdock, Debian 0.01 was released on September 15,1993, and the first stable release was made in 1996. Stretch is the development codename for Debian 9. It is the current testing distribution.

MiQi is the size of a credit card computer motherboards, which was designed and produced by mqmaker. It using a form factor similar to Raspberry PI boards, but based on a more powerful Rockchip RK3288 Cortex A17 processor combined with 1/2GB 64 bit bandwidth DDR3 RAM. MiQi is so powerful, that some users use them to create clusters for build farm.

We use Debian as main supported operating system for MiQi, we will continue publishing new and better Debian firmware.  Thanks to friends from rockchip and community, we’ve built Debian9(Stretch) firmware successfully. It can be downloaded it here.
